Have you ever been away from your home or work computer and needed to access something on those hard drives? What if you forgot to tell your computer to render that home video you had just edited? Or did you simply forget to turn the computer off? Well, LogMeIn Ignition solves every one of those problems. This is the app that you didn't even know you wanted. This is every power user's dream!
For those of you who do not know about LogMeIn, let me give you a brief overview. LogMeIn is a service provider that offers a multitude of easy ways to connect to your computers, no matter where you are. For example, their free Hamachi service allows you to set up a VPN that is super secure and requires zero configuration. That is the idea behind everything LogMeIn does. LogMeIn Free is a service for personal computer users that lets you install a client on an of your computers and then access the desktops of those computers from anywhere with an Internet connection. Pretty cool, eh?

So all you need to get started is a computer, a free LogMeIn account, and an Android phone. Until May 31st, the Beta version of LogMeIn Igntion is free, too! You can download it by searching on the Market, and no QR code or link today because it will probably change in the very near future after the beta testing period is over.
Yup, it looks like my video converter hadn't started yet. So it's one click and poof, conversion started! Very handy tool! And the interface is very simple and easy to use. It comes with picnh-to-zoom, one finger drag to pan screen / move mouse, two-finger scrolling, and tap to click functionality for easy finger usage. Of course, having a hardware keyboard like on the Motorola DROID doesn't hurt, either. Overall, an excellent program that I highly recommend for any power user or person who wants remote access to their own computers.

New Link to LogMeIn beta App
Since the beta is closed now, the app is no longer available on the market place, but a kind friend over at XDA forums has posted a link to the APK file that you can install manually if you like (note: you will need to open a free account with them to download the file):http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=676867&highlight=logmein
